RETURN TO CENTER

Come Home to Yourself

A Heart-Centered Retreat for Mind, Body & Spirit

October 22–25, 2026 | Cape May Point Arts & Science Center in Cape May, New Jersey

Step away from the noise of everyday life and return to what matters most.

Join Lori Lipten, Sarah Hudson, and Mabeth Hudson for a heart-centered retreat designed to nourish your mind, body, and spirit through yoga, meditation, Inspired Heart practices, spiritual connection, creativity, reflection, nature, and community.

Together, we will explore what it means to cultivate an inner center that is not dependent upon external circumstances—a place of presence, wisdom, authenticity, and peace that remains available no matter what is happening around us.

Throughout the weekend, you will experience guided practices, meaningful conversation, compassionate witnessing, group readings, creative exploration, and opportunities for rest, renewal, and personal transformation.

Please Note: Lodging and travel are not included.

Check-In: Thursday, October 22 at 5:00 PM

Opening Circle: Thursday at 6:30 PM

Closing: Sunday at Noon

Participants arrange their own accommodations, allowing flexibility to choose lodging that best suits their preferences and budget.

Space is intentionally limited to create an intimate and supportive retreat experience.

Come as you are.

Return to Center.

There comes a moment when we realize…

We cannot think our way back to peace. We have read the books. Listened to the podcasts. Taken the classes. Done our best to keep up with life. Yet many of us still feel exhausted.

Our minds rarely stop. Our bodies carry tension we don’t know how to release. We spend so much time caring for others that we slowly lose connection with ourselves. If any part of this feels familiar, you are not alone. And you are not broken.

You may simply need the space to return to yourself.

What You’ll Experience

Throughout our time together you’ll experience practices designed to nourish the body, calm the mind, awaken the heart, and reconnect you with your deepest wisdom.

 Nervous System Regulation

Learn practical techniques that help shift the body from stress and reactivity toward greater calm, resilience, and presence.

You’ll leave with tools you can continue using long after the retreat ends.

Guided Breathwork

Experience intentional breathing practices that support relaxation, emotional balance, mental clarity, and deeper connection with yourself.

Sometimes the simplest breath becomes the doorway home.

.

Meditation & Guided Mental Imagery

Quiet the mental noise.

Develop greater inner awareness.

Reconnect with the peaceful presence that exists beneath constant thinking.

Gentle Yoga & Mindful Movement

Led by Sarah Hudson, these accessible movement practices invite you to reconnect with your body through awareness rather than performance.

No experience is necessary.

This is not about how the poses look.

It is about how present you become while moving through them.

Nature as Medicine

Cape May becomes part of the retreat itself.

The shoreline.

The ocean.

The birds.

The autumn air.

The quiet beauty of nature gently invites the nervous system to settle and the heart to open.

You’ll have opportunities to walk, reflect, journal, and simply be.

Creative Reflection

Journaling.

Creative expression.

Meaningful conversation.

Quiet moments of contemplation.

Sometimes our deepest insights emerge when we finally create enough space to hear ourselves.

Authentic Connection

Many people are surrounded by others yet still feel alone.

Return to Center creates a compassionate community where there is nothing to prove, nothing to fix, and no expectation to be anything other than yourself.

You are welcome exactly as you are.
